AWAKEN YOUR MIND AND SOUL
BREATHING: WHY BREATHING ? WHY???
Since I started learning Tantra in 2009,
I discovered how important breathing is for our lives.
Learning to breathe properly can wake up our minds and spirits, giving more oxygen to the brain.
This extra oxygen helps us live fully and remember our experiences from different times in our lives.
Sadly, many people don’t see how important breathing is.
Breathing helped me recover memories lost after a head injury in 2011.
I also seen many clients improve their lives through breath work, especially in reducing stress and gain Memory.
Breathing is key to unlocking our energy.
It activates our whole body, refreshing our energy, soul, heart, and mind.
It also helps us connect with others on a deeper level.
Breathing can improve focus and clarity.
It encourages self-love and takes care of our souls.
We need to start this practice today because we can’t be sure what will happen tomorrow.
SCIENTIFIC INSIGHTS INTO THE BENEFITS OF BREATHING EXERCISES :
1.STRESS REDUCTION :
Research published in the journal “Health Psychology Review” found that deep, controlled breathing can significantly lower cortisol levels, the hormone associated with stress (Creswell & Lindsay, 2014).
2 ANXIETY RELIEF :
A meta-analysis in “JAMA Internal Medicine” reviewed studies on various relaxation techniques, including controlled breathing. The results indicated that these techniques are effective in reducing symptoms of anxiety (Goyal et al., 2014).
3 IMPROVED COGNITIVE FUNCTION :
A study in the “Journal of Clinical Psychology” demonstrated that diaphragmatic breathing improves attention span and cognitive flexibility in participants during high-demand tasks (Hölzel et al., 2011).
4.EHANCED PHYSICAL PERFORMANCE :
Research in “Sports Medicine” found that controlled breathing techniques can enhance oxygen delivery to muscles during exercise, leading to improved performance and endurance (Barnes et al., 2012).
5 CARDIOVASCULAR HEALTH :
The American Heart Association published a review showing that deep and slow breathing can lower blood pressure, improving overall heart health (Huang et al., 2016).
6 MINDFULNESS AND EMOTIONAL WELL-BEING :
A study in “Psychological Science” showed that mindfulness practices, including breathing exercises, can enhance emotional regulation and overall well-being (Keng et al., 2011).
7.PAIN MANAGEMENT :
Evidence from a systematic review in “Pain Medicine” suggested that breathing exercises can reduce chronic pain by facilitating neural pathways related to pain perception and reducing emotional reactivity to pain (Norton et al., 2015).
8 ENHANCED IMMUNE FUNCTION :
A study published in “Psychosomatic Medicine” indicated that deep breathing techniques boost immune system functioning by modulating stress responses (Kiecolt-Glaser et al., 2002).
Incorporating breathing exercises into your daily practice can lead to numerous benefits, affirming the critical role of breath in our physical, mental, and emotional health.
In conclusion, breathing is more than just a natural process; it’s a powerful way to grow and improve our well-being.
